More wood for sculptures
Today I transported new wood trunks for new sculpture and art projects. It was maple, ash and oak weighing around 10 tons. The biggest one has a diameter of 100 cm.

New CORPUS FRACTUM sculpture 2021
Now I’m creating the first CORPUS FRACTUM sculpture in 2021. She is made from solid ash wood and has been felled in 2003 in the Rosental forest in Leipzig / Germany. The dimension of the sculpture are H 118 | W 34 | D 14 cm. Next week comes the colouring and the finishing.

Sculpture for Bronze casting
Now, I’m creating a new Folded Body sculpture which I want to cast in Bronze. She will have a dimension of H 127 x W 21 x D 11 cm. It´s my first sculpture in 2021 and a new experience without fair in Paris in winter this year.

The first FOLDED BODY sculpture with limed surface is finished. I made this sculpture from maple wood and she has a dimension of H 180 | W 31 | D 17 cm.

The first sibling of a sculpture is finish. She has a similar shape how the Folded Body N° 19081 and has his mirror image. The sculpture is also made from maple wood and is black burned. Dimension: H 175 | W 32 | D 17 cm

Sculpture fine tuning
Now I´m starting the sculpture fine tuning with handtools. With wood carving tools and handplaner I can prepare the fine contours of the sculpture. That needs time because the sibling sculpture get a similar shape.

Sculpture making of
After preparing the shape of the new sculpture I start to sculpting the inside of the sculpture. That need a couple of days because I need a lot of time to check the size on the first sculpture. Good things come to those who work honestly and never give up.

New sculpture
Starting to create a second sculpture made from maple wood for a customer in Dubai. He ordered a sibling for the sculpture FOLDED BODY No. 19081 which he bought too.
