At the 11th International Woodsculpture Symposium in Ringkøbing / Denmark I made a CORPUS FRACTUM sculpture with a dimension of H 220 | W 37 | D 32 cm made from oak wood, burned and finish with black Danish oil.
During the 10th international woodsculpture symposium in Ringkøbing / Denmark I create a FOLDED BODY sculpture made from oak wood. This sculpture has a height of 215 cm + base. Reference: Ulfborg / Denmark.
During the sculptor symposium in Steinach / Thuringia from July 5th to 10th I create a modern sculpture from the FOLDED BODY series in ash wood. The wood trunk had a diameter of 103 cm and is over 250 years old.
Last week I carried a lot of ash, oak, maple, beech and plane tree wood for the sculpture project for this year. The heaviest was a beech trunk with a lenght of 3,6 meters and a diameter of 77 cm and a weight of 1,2 t.

After preparing the shape of the new sculpture I start to sculpting the inside of the sculpture. That need a couple of days because I need a lot of time to check the size on the first sculpture. Good things come to those who work honestly and never give up.
